Summer is here and in France school ends in first week of July. But to be sure everybody will attend, the school show is a bit earlier. The kids sing some songs, the parents applauds like crazy and then everybody eats from a giant potluck.
Viggo has been singing the same song since February I think, driving us crazy at home, in the car and even when during his time-outs… The Little Clown fish it’s called and I can tell ya I wanted to drown that little fella sometimes. Not Viggo, the fish. ;D
“Clown clown petit clown, c’était un p’tit poisson clown”
“Clown clown petit clown, c’était un p’tit poisson clown”
“Clown clown petit clown, c’était un p’tit poisson clown”
Repeat
OMG
But all was forgiven in the instant he stood on stage. What he hadn’t told us, the little munchkin, was that he sang a solo part! So when the teacher handed him the microphone and he started to sing about the clown fish, it was so cute my heart just bursted with joy! And how we laughed, he was so proud and cute!
After the song we went for drinks and snacks and the kids ran around like crazy. Viggo was so happy to introduce his buddies to Gaétan so they were off in a wink. Mathieu and me where busy trying to calm Alva down, she did not quite appreciate the show as much, and eating slippery pies and cakes with one hand and drink a beer with the other… But it was fun and memorable and I got to take at least some photos of the show!
Hi Mama!
