This is how we spend this Sunday, on the floor in the boy’s room playing with Brio. Well, I’m not on the floor, my computer is in the playing area just outside their room, so I share all the action even if I don’t play actively with them. Mathieu is a fan of train rail construction and playing with the kids in general where I am more in to moments of crafting, drawing and DIY. A perfect balance if you ask me. I’m not a play mom and that’s how it is and it’s without bad conscious that I let them play among “boys”.

Voilà comme on passe notre dimanche aujourd’hui, par terre en train de jouer avec des Brio. Enfin, moi je suis pas vraiment par terre avec eux mais je suis sur l’ordi qui est juste à coté et je participe à l’action quand même. C’est comme ça chez nous, Mathieu aime de construire et jouer avec les kids quant à moi je préfère de faire des ateliers avec eux, dessiner et faire des DIY. C’est l’équilibre parfait je trouve et j’assume entièrement de ne pas être une “maman joueuse” et je profite du bonheur de les entendre jouer entre “mecs”.
