I’ve been kinda busy these last days before December but now I’m back on track!
December is here and this year we went crazy and bought the Christmas tree already the 1st of December! We don’t have the kids this week but to get the lovely Christmas feeling and getting the house ready for the holidays, we decided to do decorate it without them. Ok, they wont have put up the ornaments but I can’t wait to see their little faces when they open the door and sees the lit up tree!
We’re having a glögg in between deckings, a swedish specialty that I’ll try to show you in another post. It’s really yummy.
The first candle in the “Adventsljusstake” is lit… a swedish tradition that I will never give up.
We have natural ornaments, we collected plenty of pine cones in the forest and now they are hanging in our tree!
Hej hej! In the UK we usually use the Norway Spruce for our Christmas trees https://diggingfordirt.wordpress.com/2015/12/01/the-christmas-tree-question/ What do you guys use?

Hej hej! :D We picked a Nordmann fir this year, the needles are softer and that’s great with kids running around non-stop!
