Geocaching around a castle

Last weekend we decided to go for a geocache at Chateau Capion. It’s a 30 minutes drive from home and we’d already visited it for a geocache in the forest around but this time we went for the cache in the castle garden. If you don’t know about geocaching you should definitely check it out, it’s a free app and if you have kids it’s the perfect way to get them out in nature with a goal. The goal to find the “treasure”!

Chateau Capion is a cute little castle with a garden open for everyone. You can’t actually visit the inside of the castle but for us the garden is more than enough. It’s huge and you’re all alone. For now at least.

She found the cache, she was so proud of her treasure hunt!

Have you tried geocaching yourself? I’d love to hear!
