I don’t know about your kids but mine really gets a spark from boredom.
I’m not one of those moms that plan the day for my kids and fill it with activities, I need my space and I think it’s really important for kids to be able to find theirs too. With space I mean time to do whatever I want and for them to do whatever they want with whatever they want. And for them that often comes from boredom. After spending an hour just hanging around, one finds a picnic cloth, puts it on the table, another one gets a candle, paper and pen and then plays restaurant for two hours straight. I love it. I love them.
