Swedish Christmas things

I’m a true Christmas lover, it’s my absolute favorite time of the year, I live for December! :) But I also love to celebrate winter and to extend the pleasure as long as possible. So I decorate a bit every day, I don’t deck the halls first of December, I start with the Christmas lightning and then hyacinths, candles and moss.  Here’s the shelf above one of the sofas and that is a “Adventsljusstake”, a traditional Swedish Christmas object.

I bought seven hyacinths but I think I’ll go out for seven more, I can’t get enough of the scent, it’s such a childhood memory trigger, I love it! I tend to think the pink ones smells more than the others, do you agree?

This morning I took these photos but at the same time I pulled out the camera I had three little ones with a cold calling for me… but I’ll show you more when I can!
