I found this super cute fabric in a craft store in Montpellier and I immidately knew I wanted to sew a jumpsuit for Alva! The print reminds me a bit of the brand bobo choses and I used a jumpsuit I bought from Zara to draw my own pattern. It turned out so cute, don’t you think? I’m especially proud of myself being able to remake a pattern and then sew without getting angry, hot and sweaty and just wanting to throw the whole thing on the floor, nope this time I took it slowly, thought before rather than after and actually made it! It’s a bit too big in the waist but I just sew a seam that I can open later so she can use it for a couple of more months. Same thing for the length of the legs and shoulder straps as well, sustainable and pretty!
Jag fick syn på det här fina tyget i en hobbybutik i Montpellier och tänkte direkt att det skulle bli en byxdress till Alva! Det är så fint och påminner lite om märket bobo choses tycker jag med dess fina print. Jag ritade av mönstret av en byxdress jag köpt på Zara och efter några timmar och lite sprättning så fick jag till det! Visst blev den fin? Jag är faktiskt stolt över mig själv att jag lyckades rita ett eget mönster och sen få till det utan att bli ilskt varm och svettig eller slänga det hela i golvet, jag bestämde mig för att ta det lugnt och försöka tänka efter före och det funkade! Den blev lite för stor i midjan men det löste jag bara genom att sy i en söm som jag kan sprätta senare så kan hon ha den ett tag till. Samma med längden, nertill sparade jag några centimeter och på axelbanden likaså. Hållbart och fint!
