This year we decided on only one or two gifts for us and Alva and keep it simple for the boys too. For Alva I already knew I wanted to give her a Maileg bunny, my mom bought her two Swedish song books and the whole Scandinavian theme thing was settled when we went in to town one day and I stumbled upon the animal encyclopedia by this Swedish illustrator!
I can’t wait until her birthday to chose another one, I think I might have started a slightly obsessed collection mania here…
I got a pair of sneakers and a book from Mathieu and I got us a classic game that reminds me of my childhood. Perfect gifts! And, the big one, the Stockholm armchair from Ikea! I’ve been drooling over it every time we’re at Ikea and I have already spent each evening either feeding Alva or reading my new book…
It’s finally mine :)
