Hello! We arrived here in Bourg St Maurice on Friday at midnight. We got up around 8 on Saturday to a shining sun + blue skies and we decided to go outside right after breakfast. Since ski school starts only Sunday we had the whole day for fun in the valley. We made a little fort in the garden with the remains of last week’s snow and then we headed to the local market and just wandered off a bit. We (or let me say the boys) tasted absolutely EVERYTHING you can in terms of cheese and sausages. Oh boy how I wanted to do the same but with the toxoplasmose + listeria risk I nicely have to wait 2 more months.
Someone does NOT like the nougat he wanted to taste so badly… LOL And they practiced some slope style in the middle of the square.
Right now I’m sitting in a cafe (with Wi-Fi!) at Arc 1600 having a huge decaf with milk + some croissants and waiting for the boys to finish their first class of ski school! Mathieu is off for some snowboarding for an hour or two, so I have some time for blogging. Perfect family timing :)

On est arrivé ici à Bourg Saint Maurice vendredi nuit et samedi nous a offert un temps génial, soleil et ciel bleu. On s’est levé vers 8h et on est sorti de suite après petit dej pour en profiter un max de journée avant l’école de ski commence dimanche. On a construit un fort dans le jardin avec les restes de neige puis on est partis au marché pour voir un peu. Les garçons ont goûté absolument TOUT ce que tu peux en fromage et charcuterie et ils étaient super contents. Moi je les ai juste regardé, je dois faire attention à la toxo et listeriose encore 2 mois. Viggo a goûté au nougat qu’il a pas trop aimé lol et ils ont fait quelques exercices de chasse neige au milieu de la foule.
Pour le moment je suis assis dans un café en bas des pistes aux Arcs 1600 en train de boire un grand déca au lait + des croissants et je blog avec le Wi-Fi des pistes ! Les garçons sont à l’école de ski et Mathieu profite pour en faire un peu de snow. Pas mal l’organisation de la famille D aujourd’hui :)
