Hi there and happy Sunday!
We’ve been working on DIY’s all day long and I’m so pleased with the result. We put up a shelf in the dining area, one for the shoes in the entryway + jacket hanger for the kids. We also changed place on a lot of furniture and it’s really like living in a completely new house. It’s crazy how some small (and free!) changes can do so much for the interior. I’m also very happy because my man has been helping me all day. I’m mean, he’s always helping me, but today he did most of the handy work, a big thing for a really not handy man! :D He’s getting better and better. I’m only saying this because he himself loudly says he sucks with a hammer or a screw and that I’m the handy one of us both. Maybe 2017 will be the year he becomes a carpenter? LOL
But back to interior decoration now! It’s already dark outside so no pictures were taken (as usual…) but tomorrow I will. Meanwhile I can show you some of my inspiration for the moment for different spaces in the house. On a travaillé toute la journée sur des différents DIY ici à la maison et je suis super contente du résultat. On a mis une étagère dans le coin repas, une autre pour les chaussures + un des patères pour les manteaux des enfants. En plus de ça on a changé de place de tellement de meuble que j’ai un impression de vivre dans une nouvelle maison! C’est fou comment des petits changements (gratuits en plus!) peuvent faire un si grand différence. Je suis aussi super contente parce que Mathieu m’a aidé pour tout. Je veux dire, il m’aide toujours pour tout, mais là c’est lui qui a bricolé! Je dis ça parce que lui-même dit tout le temps haut et fort que le bricoleur de nous deux, c’est Åsa. Mais aujourd’hui c’était lui! :) Peut etre 2017 va être l’année où il est devenu menuisier? LOL
Bon, retournons à la déco d’intérieur. Il fait bien sûr déjà nuit et j’ai pas pris des photos mais demain je le fais, promis. Entre temps je peux vous donner un peu de mon inspiration pour le moment, pour toute pieces de la maison. C’est tous des screenshots de l’app “Readly” que j’adore! C’est juste magique de pouvoir lire des magazines de Suède dans mon iPad!
