Today is Gaétan’s birthday, for you new here on the blog, that’s my stepson. But I don’t like that word, stepson sounds so… Cinderella-like. I don’t know why I think so but it sounds cold. So bonus kid is my word for it. So, today is my bonus kid’s 6th birthday! Since it’s not “our” week, Mathieu will just take him out for lunch and give him a small gift but this weekend we’ll celebrate with him & Viggo and some family. We are also heading up to the alps for the holidays so we’ll be doing the traditional Swedish b-day cake for him up in the mountains this year, yaj!
Aujourd’hui c’est l’anniversaire de Gaétan. Pour vous les nouveaux ici sur le blog c’est mon beau-fils. Mais le mot beau-fils me plait pas, je trouve ça sonne un peu froid et genre Cendrions-ish. Pour moi c’est mon bonus-kid. Donc, aujourd’hui c’est le 6eme anniversaire de mon bonus-kid! Comme ce n’est pas “notre” semaine, Mathieu va l’amener déjeuner et lui offrir un petit truc et c’est ce weekend que les festivités auront lieu avec Viggo et un peu de famille. En plus, on part aux Arcs pour les vacances de Toussaint donc on va faire le gateau traditionnel suédois là haut, trop bien!
