We cleaned the kid’s room today and I think we finally came up with a configuration that feels cosy and roomy at the same time. Their room is so hard to furnish, it’s really narrow and long. So narrow, it’s even hard to get on picture with my 50mm lens.
Today we have a flood warning going on here, it has been raining since this night and we have had like 3 weeks of rain in a couple of hours. Schools are closed and we’ve stayed at home all 4 of us baking cakes, painting, crafting and other cosy stuff. I’m thrilled of course with the bad weather even though I feel really sorry for those who are less safe than us. Viggo has a bad fever of 39 degrees on top of all so staying at home was a good thing today.
I just made a Swedish “Sockerkaka” (sponge cake) and we’re having an afternoon snack with that and hot chocolate, yum!
Avec l’alerte orange chez nous et les écoles fermées, on est restés à la maison toute la journée tous les 4. On a fait des gateaux (“Sockerkaka” suédois), de la peinture, des ateliers et rien du tout en même temps, trop bien. En plus, Viggo a la fièvre, plus de 39 donc rester à la maison était un must quand même. Mais on a quand même été bien efficace parce qu’on a rangé la chambre des kids et re-aménagé le tout. Maintenant ça fait beaucoup plus cosy et mieux arrangé qu’avant, parce que la chambre est vraiment étroite et longue, si étroit que j’ai un peu du mal de photographier avec mon objectif fixe 50mm. Les boys sont bien content et moi aussi, le tapis gris bleu du Maison de Monde qui traînait dans le cellier a enfin trouvé sa place!
