I’m so happy guys! I did it, I actually scrapped the whole day yesterday and came up with this and another page. SO pleased. For you non-scrappers you might find that odd to come up with only 9 little pieces of paper in one, entire day. But the thing is, you have to chose photos, upload, edit, print and cut them. Then create some cards in photoshop, print and cut them too. Then chose between existing cards, embellish them and then put the whole schabang together. For me that’s like 1/3 of the work, the togetherness. I can go nuts and sometimes I just have walk away and do other stuff until the inspiration comes back… #scraplife
But it is so fun and I realize how important all the albums I’ve been doing the last couple of years are for the memories. It’s all about the memories. Of the little things that you forget, the simple and wonderful things.
This is how to process looks like, lot’s of photos and hand made cards, some of them never make it into the album, it depends on the flow.
Je suis si contente! Je l’ai fait, j’ai scrappé toute la journée hier et j’ai fini 2 pages. Trop contente de moi. Pour vous les “non-scrappeuses” on peut trouver la abusé de passer une journée entiere pour quelque morceaux de papiers mais c’est long de scrapper! Il faut choisir les photos, les uploader, retoucher, imprimer et couper. Ensuite créer des cartes dans photoshop, imprimer et couper. Puis choisir parmi les cartes pré-faites, les embellir et mettre ensemble avec le tout. Et cette partie me prend le plus de temps, genre un tier du temps. Couleurs, formes et photos, ça doit aller ensemble. Des fois j’ai envie de tout jeter par terre, me arracher quelques cheveux et hurler une chouille mais bon, je fais autre chose pendant un petit moment et ça passe! Et je finis la page. Le feeling de la mettre dans l’album est trop bien, ça y est, j’ai crée quelques souvenirs pour l’avenir. Yes.
