** TRIP TO THE CHILLON CASTLE  – English in the bottom

Dimanche on a visité le château Chillon. Oh mon dieu. Si vous êtes fan d’histoire et architecture et la vie en générale c’est un must. Un château au bord du lac qui se visite du donjon à la plus haute tour. On a pris le bateau pour y aller et en plus de la vue magnifique sur la côte, on a eu la super chance d’avoir un orage avec des éclairs qui illuminaient le ciel au dessus du château… Voilà la mise en ambiance de moyen age, c’était juste le top!!! Il a ensuite plu un peu mais avec le tonnerre qui grognait de loin, ça nous a juste fait ressentir encore plus comment ça devait être un sombre après-midi il y a 500 ans… Wow!

Pour y aller, il faillait prendre le bateau, on dirait exactement les mêmes qu’à Stockholm. On avait des vrais matelots avec nous, les kids trouvaient ça super fun et nous aussi.

Et par ce trou où on regarde on voyait le lac Léman genre 50 metres plus bas, scary shit pour ceux avec vertige donc nous. Les kids étaient vraiment super, super, super content de la visite, regardez la tête de Viggo quand il touchait l’armure en bas. Cuteness!

Certains regardaient dans le mauvais direction devant le château, regardez son style, trop bon! LOL Il était tout rouge d’effort pour ses photos.

J’ai photoshoppé une photo pour aller avec l’ambiance un peu spooky et dramatique, mais le résultat donne plutôt un prêtre malsain de 1857… Lolz Surtout quand je dois flouter le visage de Gaétan tout le temps, ça m’énerve!

** We went on a trip to the Chillon Castle on the shore of the lake Léman. It was absolutely amazing and we had the chance (we are strange I know) to have a thunderstorm coming in when we stepped on the steam boat to go there! Lightning strike on the horizon and it was just perfect to visit a medieval castle under those circumstances… It rained a bit when we entered the castle and if you forget about the tourist you could easily imagine what it was like 500 years ago. We went by boat and the kids had such a great time, real sailors on the boat and true explorers in the castle. It was awesome!

I photoshopped one of the pics from there to go with the medieval feeling but it looks more like a priest from 1857 with bad intentions LOL. Well, we had such a fun day and it was pure happiness to see the kids going crazy over all the cool stuff at Château Chillon!
